The Akrivia Health Network is a group of highly innovative Health Care Organisations which are working together to accelerate research in mental health and dementias.
These organisations are utilising technology and robust information governance measures to enable research, audit and service evaluation to take place. The platform technology allows members to examine data at a scale that was not possible previously, helping them to analyse how services are performing, develop new understanding about disease and care delivery, and efficiently carry out feasibility work for research studies and clinical trials. All this is to develop a better understanding of the care and interventions being provided today (and in the future) so we can improve patient experience, safety and health outcomes.
Our members come from across England and Wales and provide a cross section of health providers from both rural and urban locations.
As well as the technology supporting the network, Akrivia Health also provides a support framework for our members where they can gain insights, share experiences and enhance knowledge from each other that lead to improvement in outcomes of research. Such collaboration within the network enables researchers to carry out research at scale.
